If you need a boardwalk that refuses to fail, fully recycled plastic is the hard-wearing option.

Our fully recycled plastic boardwalk systems are built entirely from 100% recycled plastic (and a few steel fixings). Posts, joists and deck boards are all designed to handle constant moisture, ground movement and heavy footfall without rotting, warping or splitting. They are particularly well suited to wetlands, nature reserves, coastal paths and high-use public access routes.

Unlike timber, these boardwalks require no treatments, preservatives or ongoing maintenance. Once installed, they stay put and keep performing for decades.

(Based on 1.2m width and 1m post length)

This option delivers maximum lifespan and minimum intervention. Ideal where access is difficult and future maintenance would be expensive or disruptive.
