The Thornton Large Mobility Kissing Gate with RADAR Lock is a specialized access solution designed to provide the highest level of accessibility for large mobility scooters while maintaining strict stock control. The oversized “hoop” or “cage” area is specifically dimensionsed to allow 180-degree maneuvering for category 3 mobility scooters and large wheelchairs. To prevent unauthorized vehicle use or to manage specific access requirements, the gate features a RADAR (Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation) lock system; this allows the gate to swing fully open for key holders while acting as a standard kissing gate for other pedestrians.
